I will too. Hopefully someone will have an answer for us.
[ yuffie's version of trying to be nice. she is obviously unhappy talking about this, uncomfortable and anxious and tense. she's like, shifting her weight around a little even ]
Have the dead written you anything about "less than 6 ingredients"? What the plan is to screw up the cult's ritual in the end?
Well, the problem is Ashlyn and whoever killed Tomizawa, because it isn't Robin. I don't know if maybe both were her, or we have another monster on our hands. I thought you might.
During Tomizawa's trial, I noticed there was a moment when Mathis was checking something on him. Then he stopped and pulled Kanda over to Lavi in a hurry, but I couldn't catch what they were talking about.
So I've been wondering if Mathis found something but decided to keep it between Lavi and himself.
[ that feels like so long ago.... yuffie opens her mouth, then closes it again ]
No. Kanda was cursed late in the trial to throw attention off of.... other things happening. It wasn't about Tomizawa's case at all.
[ a blip of frustration since she doesn't think she can say much, but she knows asa is smart so hopefully she'll get it ] Plus, if he was afflicted, then his corpse would have started turning when he was killed... like Iwatooshi.
I really don't think so. The few letters she shared with us didn't seem to be accusing her of anything, anyway... And this is the first time evidence was found on her.
[unlike kate and her glitter bomb, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.]
With her permission. [FROWNS AT HER!!! they are not the same.] Yeah... Well, if you want to be really technical about it, there was a fairy too. A tooth eating fairy.

.... Um. Asa. There's something else I need to talk to you about, but it's gonna be real shitty to talk about.
[ so if she wants to wait that's fine ]

[maybe they know something about the stars.
the subject change has her tensing up, though. she's quiet for a moment, and then she sighs.]
What is it? Talking about it later isn't going to make it feel any less crappy.

I already know how things have to end, Yuffie. I think... most people do by now, if not everyone. You don't need to dance around the subject.

About that... Are we sure Kanda wasn't afflicted?
no subject
But why him?

[WHY... she can guess why, actually. but still. why. she huffs out a breath, annoyed.]
In that case, I have no idea who the heck killed Tomizawa. Ashlyn was fine until this week, so... I don't know. How are you sure it wasn't Robin?
no subject
Are you sure it wasn't Ashlyn? Kate seemed fine for a while too.
... Robin said it wasn't her.

You think she was telling the truth?
no subject
[ hmmm ]
She coulda lied, but... Camille, Aqua, Erin, Kate, they were honest about their victims once exposed. So I think she's telling the truth.

[the mods really gave us the game changer skit as an item.]
Aqua wouldn't tell me much, so I don't know... But I guess it's true that she wouldn't have any reason to lie.
