Remember when you tried to examine the room people have been getting those items from? Well, someone showed me a journal page that talked about the deceased, so I examined it. Then I got the sense that it came from somewhere beyond our reach.
That's the same feeling you got about that room, right?
I think it tells us a little more than that. If that room is just out of reach as the people we've lost, then... Wouldn't that mean everyone who's gone on a "trip" has been way closer to them than we thought? Like, practically next door for all we know.

Yeah, maybe they are connected..... Totty and Lavi told me they heard people speaking outside the room. I thought maybe it was the rest of the cult... but now I wonder if it could be them. But then the question is, how do they get out of there?

But from what I know about the place the dead are at.... their afflictions, monster powers, and everything fade away after a time. So I don't know if it'll work.... especially if they are connected.
