Famine had said it was something they could try when I asked them, at least. I think the concern would have been less about the cult finding out and more about the question of whether the barrier would actually stay up during that time since so much other stuff gets weird.

To be honest, I don't know if there even is another choice. It feels like all we can do is just... delay the inevitable or get it over with.
