Huh... odd. Well... no harm in learning about them anyway, right? I was reading about the Eternal Edict - they were apparently an order of Paladins who served here. Knights, like me!
You mean those old scrolls in the ruins? [i hope rondo is the one who stole most of them.] Thinking about it, all of this might be more set dressing — like the bible.
Oh, yeah... just... things that are there but don't really matter...? Well - at least they're not cursing us. [ shakes in tree meltdown on thursday ] This place's actually - I really like it here.
[ i hope it was our fault for killing camille :looking:
he nods at that, smile warm. ]
It reminds me of home. [ all the magic and the life and the deeply tied to a tree god that we're gonna piss off in a few days ] Everything here really does. If you closed your eyes, you could just be walking in the Riverlands.
Really, really pretty. I've only traveled through it here and there - Alfyn lives there, actually! But, I grew up close enough that we'd go to the rivers sometimes in the summer when the weather was too hot to handle in Bolderfall.
[ neighbors!!! but, he'll continue: ]
It's like... there are lots of really lush, pretty trees and forests, and the clearest water you'd ever see. Everything there's so green. And some of the forests feel really magical, too, depending on where you go. And... unfortunately, the monsters are pretty normal for Orsterra, too... so the giant spiders aren't even that strange.
Yeah... [ bad ] ... Orsterra's pretty dangerous. There aren't a lot of places that aren't full of monsters... but, that's why the Knights Ardante exist. It's our job to protect people from the more dangerous parts of the continent.

Miss Asa, you're so smart! I never would've even thought of that.
[ coming to peer over at the book... ]
What does it say...? Anything helpful>

[she shows him the book. but mods said not to think too hard on it, so it's all probably just unrelated stuff.]
It looks like it's just a coincidence that they used that name.

It's nice, isn't it? I'll always miss the houses from the island. But this isn't bad at all.
