I know that we are all pretty tired and wired, but I just wanna see if we can roundup things so everyone's on the same page. I've talked to some of you, then some others I haven't!
But! Maybe we can do a little rundown on what we've heard, seen, or anything, so everyone's on the same page for the most part.
The terms of importance seem to be:the number six and ROCKS multiple times. There have been talk and theories that we need to drop below six so they end up summoning their god to be a baby, but we need to bide our time with that. Lavi saw a letter that told us to slow down on killing.
Terms that have come up:egg... related things, runes, then for the mortuary it's ARMS, LEGS, MOUTHS, and... ROCKS. Currently, we think that these could be related to the ritual and/or the pieces for the ritual? Which could come from the Thursday danger trips. Daan said it's related to the sermon. [ Does not explain eggs. ]
Some passages. I got this one from Robin and Daan before, the second one is just a rearrangement.
A most melodious voice spoke to us! (I've made it past four days.) I could listen to your testaments forever, (Not you, though I should have from the beginning.) with a grin spread from ear to ear.

And then this one's what Gale got from doing his homework.
"...was astronomical, but I was finally able to see it." "In return for the gift I offered" "It rose above us, towering, and I wept." "My god! My savior! You arrived."
[ ........... ]
There are also these: "strip bar trees cats rocks j-censored j-censored rocks bees oviposition rocks GIANT SKULL rocks," "the scrambled eggs are very good. it is a shame that your meals seem paltry compared to before. i hope that someone fiXes that."
Anyway, if anyone wants to add on anything... Before one of us dies, you know...
skimming through one of the biology books he has with him curiously, murmuring to himself.]
'...the details and morphology of the ovipositor vary, but typically its form is adapted to functions such as preparing a place for the egg, transmitting the egg, and then placing it properly...'
[ I'm at work and actually doing things but there's a !!! emotion and he pulls out... ]
"and I would feel the brush of our savior." (not you, though it feels like it sometimes) "If I reached out, I knew it would extend itself toward me" (did you ever eat it?) "...stretched toward Heaven!" (say hi to Ser Snufflepuss the Great for me)
The first one was sent to me, the second to Lavi, and the third to Hawke, obviously. I also got somethin' from Cae tellin' me to look into rocks.
Maybe..? I'm not sure what mine was referrin' to...
But I think it's "If I reached out, I knew it would extend itself toward me, and I would feel the brush of our savior."
I dunno it "...stretched toward Heaven" is for the end of that or another scripture, but I don't thiiiink the brackets are anythin' for us to piece together? Unless we gotta match up parts that have the same or similar brackets.
Um... my understanding is, we don't need to slow down, so much as we can't just all start dying too quickly compared to how things have been. The same pace is all right, but we shouldn't start trying for it too early, or... making decisions too soon about who will be there, since we don't know who possessed people will kill...
But besides that, I don't... really know anything. Rondo and I didn't receive anything after our trip, and I didn't get any of the same sort of strange letters... just one letting me know about needing to be below six at the end.
[the vibe is feeling a little useless my dudes.
thinking about it though... thinking...]
...oh, one of mine did mention the skulls, sort of? One letter mentioned places they were thinking of seeing, and they were all normal except for 'skull fortresses'.
... yeah, if we go too fast, it'll alert the cult and they'll just. Start over with new folks. And we can't lose everyone from our group, just to have strangers put through what we've gone through.
I spoke to War about the number six. Essentially... yes. Six is the minimum amount of sacrifices the cult needs to summon their god. [the vibes are bad.] But it's the same issue we keep running into when deciding what to do with the afflicted. If too many of us die at once, then the cult will turn their attention to us and notice there are times when they can't see us. If too many of us die with enough time before the summoning, they will probably just wipe the slate clean and start over.
Our safest bet is probably to just... let things continue as they have with the monsters. And then when we're getting close to the summoning, find a way to drop below six at a time where the cult can no longer do anything to fix it, so the ritual fails.

I was wondering if this means it'll be summoned in an egg.

That's what Todomatsu said as well and something about the partner thing is less of a concern because we're two weeks away.
