So if someone found the right person and confronted them, it'd be way more dangerous.

Doing it alone would be suicidal.

The best way would be to spread the information behind their back, but then you'd really have to be sure you had the right person...

And you'd also run the risk of accidentally telling someone who has just gotten possessed by a monster, too.

I doubt we'd be lucky enough that they'd just take out the other monster that week.

Probably not? I don't know for sure, but I don't know why they would.

We're always busy asking questions about what happened before. Then afterwards we're stuck with a bunch of questions about what's going to happen next.

I know. [tired. so, so tired.] Every answer we get only raises twenty more questions. And a lot of the time, the overseers don't even know what's going to happen or even why it's happening.

Or they know but the answer is just "ritual magic, and the solution is more ritual magic," so we get pulled along into more situations without any real control.
