[ stands there with a turkey leg in hand, himself, just sort of staring out at everything.
there's the worried Hope Mr. Daan is alright thought, but fortunately he no longer thinks that everyone can see him naked and is mostly just vibing here. ]
Imagine if there was a piermaster. Probably be chasin' us off if we didn't pay 'em.
[ there's a huff of a laugh at that. he looks out, absently, munching his food, leaning a little further against his stuffed animal like a pillow. ]
Mm. [ ... ] Have you ever been to the Sacred Flame Festival in Flamesgrace? The festivities are a little austere, but... I love it. It's so wonderful to see the way the town lights up with all the pilgrims, and there's nowhere prettier in all of Orsterra for the snow.
I hope... if things settle down at home, I'd like to bring Cordelia there, next year. If you all have found the dragonstones, then... hopefully, she can finally come visit.
No, we never did get to Flamesgrace durin' Aelfric's time, though we kept swingin' through for different reasons. Think the last big holiday that we were able to catch was Sealticge's festival, though we did get to enjoy a feast together on our journey durin' Saint's Day... [ thinking as he noms on his food. ]
Maybe when we get back, I'll send word to the Ravus manor and see if we can all go to it together. [ smiling, a little boyishly crooked. ] Get to see the Flameguard in the flesh, just a bit older than what I've been knowin' so far.
rondo sits back a little bit, and his smile warms. ]
I'd make sure you got the best seats in Flamesgrace for all the performances - well, I guess, Miss Ophilia probably would first! But I'd at least make sure I saved you extra roast. I'd love to have all of you. And - I could finally meet this Therion, too, and thank him properly.
[ it really is crazy to think about, sometimes - the little places their lives cross over. ]
...I wonder what kind of Flameguard I am, in your time. [ If I'm still alive, at least. I wonder if I've been able to help people as much as Sir Sazantos did. ]

I think that'd count plenty enough. We're just borrowin' it.
[ picks a piece off his turkey leg instead of gnawing on it like a heathen. for now. ]
The festivals we've got back home are so much smaller than all this, even at the bigger ones. Really is amazin'.
